Welcome Cheyenne!
The Healthy Watersheds Initiative and Real Estate Foundation of BC is excited to welcome Cheyenne Bergenhenegouwen to our team.
As Communications Manager, Cheyenne will be leading the communications efforts and engagement strategy for the Healthy Watersheds Initiative. In this role, Cheyenne will build upon the content showcasing the amazing work being done to support British Columbia’s watersheds. As a skilled communicator, Cheyenne enjoys bringing the voices and work of those out in the field to light, through videography and storytelling.
Cheyenne is passionate about the environment and conservation. These passions were able to grow through her different communication roles at the B.C. Wildlife Federation. In her most recent position, she led the communications and content creation for the BCWF’s Wetlands Workforce project, one of the over 60 projects supported through the HWI. The short videos called the “Wetland Dialogues”, and various blogs she created helped highlight the value of wetlands and watersheds in the province. Her creative content also helped amplify the important efforts being done by the HWI to support BC’s watersheds.
Cheyenne enjoys getting outdoors and exploring the many trails and parks BC has to offer.
